Customer Review: BLUE SUEDE SMOOTH !!!
Just look at the pedigree of this line-up, a true “supergroup” in the vein of Blind Faith and perhaps more accurately, a blueprint for the Traveling Wilburys ? These are happy musicians jammin’ up a storm. George and Ringo are having a blast, Slowhand is taking it soooo seriously (“wink wink”) and Carl Perkins just lets that Sun Records sunshine rain on these boys – GREAT !!!
Customer Review: THE BEST OF THE BEST
What a great performance! Everybody in the show did there utmost to pay tribute to the late great Carl Perkins. Carl himself was an outstanding showman and singer and this DVD/CD proves it with out a doubt. Suppossedly, there is a bio-pic coming out in 2009 about his life. I hope the can re-create parts of this special with dead on accuracy as some of the greatest musicans in the world were featured along with Carl. I strongly recommend this DVD! Whether you like Carl Perkins or not, your going to like this.

Take this slick, sleek runner out on the trail and see what a difference it makes. The Ketchikan from adidas has an extra-grippy and rigid outsole that, when combined with its cushioning TPU midsole, will provide enhanced stability without sacrificing a full range of foot flex and motion.
Customer Review: Sneaker buyer
Normally it’s hard to get a nice pair of sneakers not having white, blue or red. If you need something beige and you don’t want to look like a grandpa this is a good choice, they arrived before the expected date and in good shape so I’m a satisfied customer.
Customer Review: Adidas
This product lived up to it’s usual high standard, could not have made a better choice. And dealing with Amazon made the whole experience great.

Once Upon A Mattress (1959 Original Broadway Cast)

Based on Hans Christian Andersen’s tale The Princess and the Pea, Once Upon a Mattress opened in May 1959 and was a solid success, if not a huge blockbuster. It did well enough, in any case, to warrant a 1997 revival starring Sarah Jessica Parker. The show was far from revolutionary, but it provided a really fun vehicle for a cast of top stage personalities, including black actress Jane White, who played Queen Aggravain (a part originally written for comedienne Nancy Walker) in whiteface. But of course, Once Upon a Mattress’s heart and soul was Carol Burnett, who, in her Broadway debut created the part of Princess Winnifred and delivered two of Mary Rodgers’s best songs, the hilarious “Shy” and the spunky “Happily Ever After,” which sounds a bit like Jule Styne at his most rhythmic. Burnett’s timing and performance remain as sharp as they were 40 years ago. –Elisabeth Vincentelli
Customer Review: Delightful fantasy
Later in her career, Carol Burnett turned to loud humor based on family conflict, and I lost my taste for her. However, this is early Carol Burnett and displays her at her best. I would also add that she did an excellent turn as the queen in the recent television version of this musical. There is a wonderful line in the play, just after Winifred’s appearance climbing over the wall, that establishes her character, even before “I’m Shy.” She looks at the crowd and exclaims, “I swam the moat.” My remembrance of the Burnett television showing was that she gave an emphasis to the line. Both the Ullman telecast and the one community theater presentation I have seen threw the line away, and the point is largely missed. I thought I recalled the emphasis on this recording, but the line is not included. As good as Burnett is here, she is not the only show. The story is playful, the music carries the plot, the rest of the cast are all beautiful in their roles. This recording preserves an important part of musical comedy history.
Customer Review: Mattress reviewed
Since I am in an amateur production of this show, I found the original cast recording delightful and instructional to listen to. I’m sure those who are familiar with the show will agree with me that it’s well worth adding to your collection. Carol Burnette is especially delightful as Pincess Winnefred.

Customer Review: Time to Move On…
I agree. The denim material is flimsy and paper thin. I’ve been wearing 501’s since my teens and now in my 40’s, I think I’ll switch to Docker’s jeans. They are much better quality.
Customer Review: Levi’s lost a lifelong customer
I never thought I’d look for another jeans manufacturer, but the last two pair of Levis left me unable to draw any conclusion other than that the company has allowed its standards to fall drastically in the last five years. I put up with seams that gave way and sewed them back; with pockets that couldn’t hold a set of keys without ripping; with button seams that frayed. But on each of the last two pair I purchased, the belt loops popped off at the slightest pull. And Levis have reduced the number of loops from 7 to 5. It’s too bad. They always used great material that feels great after a break-in period. But at $30-$50 a pop, they’re no longer worth it. The break-in period becomes a broke period. So long Levis.
