This motion control superhero from Brooks rescues runners with low arches and excessive overpronations. The lengthy list of superpowers includes progressive pronation control, thermo-regulation, and the ability to maintain first-feel cushioning for at least 100 miles and beyond.
Customer Review: great for excessive overpronation
This is my second pair of brooks shoes and I hardly wear anything else. My ankles are crooked and overpronate leading to trips and falls. These shoes do a great job keeping me upright. Because I use my own orthotic with them, I buy a size larger than my normal shoe. The shoes were comfortable from day one and I highly recommend them.

Customer Review: Very reliable
These shoes are super comfortable and reliable. I run 70+ miles per week and they last me 3 months with no problem. The soles are pretty flexible so they might not be great for someone who needs a lot of arch support.

For ladies on the move, the RYKA MC2 is a true, motion-control running shoe. It offers great forefoot and heel cushioning without the bulk of other running shoes. A breathable mesh upper keeps the foot cool and dry, and a Midfoot TPU web shank offers medial and lateral stability. The heel crash pad delivers even weight distribution and a high-abrasion rubber outsole provides traction on wet or dry surfaces.
Customer Review: Great Sneaker!
I am a beginner runner with flat feet which causes over-pronation. I did some research and these sneakers were in the top ten best for this type of problem. I bought them with some hesitation, only because I wasn’t able to try them on. I bought my regular size, and they fit perfectly. At first they felt a little stiff, however, I think I was confusing the stiffness with support. After a few walks/runs–they were fine and I have had no more trouble with my ankles swelling or hurting. I would highly recommend these sneakers!

The Harness boot from Frye is a classic boot with character. The soft leather upper complements the distinguished quality of this boot while the studded leather straps around the ankle provide a hint of urban style. Leather pull tabs are stylish and functional for easy entry.
Customer Review: yay! they fit my wide feet!
I have the worst time finding shoes I won’t trip over, since to get them wide enough for my feet they end up too long. I also have pretty strong calf muscles from years of dancing, running, and cycling. These boots fit my feet without sqeezing them uncomfortable, and they hit at the perfect place a few inches above my ankle, where they leave quite a bit of room between my calf and the boot. I’m thrilled to finally have a boot that’s the quality of Frye that fits and I know will last for a good long time.

crocs Cayman Sandal

Cayman sandal? Why limit yourself? Sure, this clog from crocs has a ventilated upper and a traction outsole to make it a top wet-dry performer–perfect for the beach–but we can think of a zillion other places you’ll want to wear it.
Customer Review: The most comfortable, lightweight, and versatile shoe
I am a tennis player and every day, my feet get a lot of beating on the concrete tennis court. Over time, I’ve developed pretty big heel spur on the back side of my heal, and got orthotics for my shoes. Dr. also recommended to wear heal-less shoes as much as I can, so the bump doesn’t get pushed on all the time. I’ve tried many different clogs and sandals, New Balance (with the orthotics), Birkenstocks (I used to love for years and years), Nikes… I never really thought about the Crocs, until I saw a friend playing tennis in them (I still don’t understand how he can do it, ha!), and decided to do my research. All the reviews on Amazon were great, so I bought a pair of navy Caymans. Since the day that they arrived, I haven’t worn any other shoes (besides my tennis shoes on the court, obviously…). I wear them everywhere, out and home. They are so lightweight, and comfortable, easy to slip on, easy to wash. Also when I go for long walks with my doggies, my feet feel so great in the Crocs. At first I was a bit worried how my heel spur will do without the orthotics, but somehow, the Crocs formed their shape according to my feet, and I have absolutely no problems without the orthotics. I just was not sure, what was the difference between the Cayman and Beach style… so I got another pair of Beach Crocs. Somehow, I tend to like the Cayman better. The Beach Crocs seem little clunkier, maybe just because they are “one shoe size for two feet sizes”? And for the reviewers who complain that they are ugly? I mean, it’s what it is, a comfortable, versatile shoe that you can use home, in the yard, on the beach, and other outdoors. Don’t wear it with your cocktail dresses :-)

New Balance Women’s WR740 Running Shoe

Why not have a shoe that works hard for you? This WR740 running shoe from New Balance has all of the technology you need to consistently remain protected and completely comfortable. The NLock lacing system will secure the best possible fit, the Abzorb cushioning will provide the comfort you need to always go strong, and the StabilityWeb system will provide arch support for preventing midfoot flex. How is that for perfect?
Customer Review: Super Stability and Support
I bought these shoes in black two days ago and I can’t believe how good they fit and feel. No break-in period necessary. The black pair have cool patent-leather type accents that dress them up a bit. A very nice change from predominantly white athletic shoes. I have serious foot problems and have a hard time finding shoes that I can comfortably wear and look good, too. These fit the bill 100 percent!
