Cayman sandal? Why limit yourself? Sure, this clog from crocs has a ventilated upper and a traction outsole to make it a top wet-dry performer–perfect for the beach–but we can think of a zillion other places you’ll want to wear it.
Customer Review: The most comfortable, lightweight, and versatile shoe
I am a tennis player and every day, my feet get a lot of beating on the concrete tennis court. Over time, I’ve developed pretty big heel spur on the back side of my heal, and got orthotics for my shoes. Dr. also recommended to wear heal-less shoes as much as I can, so the bump doesn’t get pushed on all the time. I’ve tried many different clogs and sandals, New Balance (with the orthotics), Birkenstocks (I used to love for years and years), Nikes… I never really thought about the Crocs, until I saw a friend playing tennis in them (I still don’t understand how he can do it, ha!), and decided to do my research. All the reviews on Amazon were great, so I bought a pair of navy Caymans. Since the day that they arrived, I haven’t worn any other shoes (besides my tennis shoes on the court, obviously…). I wear them everywhere, out and home. They are so lightweight, and comfortable, easy to slip on, easy to wash. Also when I go for long walks with my doggies, my feet feel so great in the Crocs. At first I was a bit worried how my heel spur will do without the orthotics, but somehow, the Crocs formed their shape according to my feet, and I have absolutely no problems without the orthotics. I just was not sure, what was the difference between the Cayman and Beach style… so I got another pair of Beach Crocs. Somehow, I tend to like the Cayman better. The Beach Crocs seem little clunkier, maybe just because they are “one shoe size for two feet sizes”? And for the reviewers who complain that they are ugly? I mean, it’s what it is, a comfortable, versatile shoe that you can use home, in the yard, on the beach, and other outdoors. Don’t wear it with your cocktail dresses :-)
